It’s turkey time, y’all.
Each year the Smithfield Rescue Mission gathers all the fixings for Thanksgiving meals and gives them to families in need throughout Johnston County. Our goal is to make it possible for families in need to gather and celebrate Thanksgiving in their own homes together.
From now until Friday, November 14, we will collect food donations. Or you can donate $35 to cover the cost of a complete Thanksgiving meal.

Boxes of stuffing
Boxes of instant potatoes
Gravy (packets or jars)
Evaporated milk
Canned sweet potatoes
Marshmallows
Other canned vegetables (corn, green beans)
