We are the hands and feet of Christ when we help people in need! We have some specific opportunities to serve, as well as group opportunities and one-time opportunnities. If you are interested, give us a call and we can set up a tour of the mission, and talk about the details of volunteering.   • Ongoing Opportunities

    We have ongoing needs that come open from time to time found on the list below:

    ~Organize a drive for items we need (found on our ongoing needs list, as well as seasonal needs)

    ~Prepare a Meal, or bring a catered carryout meal like pizzas, buckets of chicken, BBQ, maybe even your favorite little known restaurant :)

    ~Clothing sorting

    ~Pantry helper

    ~Driver for pickups of items we need

  • Special Projects

    Many groups come to the mission and work on special projects such as building renovations, preparing food for distribution for our Blessing Baskets Outreach, hosting and serving a meal, and more. This is great for civic groups, church and/or youth groups.

  • Professional Volunteers

    The term “professional volunteer” seems like a contradiction in terms, but it’s exactly what we need a lot of–professionals who are willing to use their skills at the mission. God has given each one of us skills and abilities that can be used to help others, and we’re asking people to use those at the mission.

    Part of our New Life Program is life skill classes. Some of these include personal finance and budgeting, professional skills, healthy cooking, studying for a GED, and more.     Maintaining our facilities is a big job, and we’re always looking for people who would like to help us do that. If you’re a plumber, electrician, contractor, builder, etc- and you’d like to offer your services, please let us know.
