Regardless of what faith our clients might be of, or what they believe, we serve our community as a way to live out our faith and the message of Jesus.
Statement of Faith
Bible – The Bible is God’s written revelation to man, inspired by the Holy Spirit directing human authors, is completely true and the ultimate source of guidance, and it is the Word of God, revealing God’s love for mankind. (Matthew 5:18; 2 Timothy 3:15-17).
God – We believe there is only one true and living God, who loves us, is eternally existing in three Persons- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit- the creator and sustainer of all things (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 3:15-17; Genesis 1:1; Colossians 1:15-20).
Jesus – We believe Jesus, as the second Person of the Trinity, is coequal, coeternal, and one in with the Father, and that He was born of a virgin. We believe that we are redeemed by His atoning death, that He was bodily resurrected into heaven, and is now seated beside the Father, as our mediator and High Priest (John 10:30; Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23-25; Romans 3:24-25; 5:8-9; Romans 8:34; 1 John 2:1-2).
Holy Spirit – We believe the Holy Spirit, as the third Person of the Trinity, is divine and coequal with the Father and Son, that He was active in creation, the incarnation, and the work of salvation. The Spirit glorifies Jesus Christ, convicts us of sin, is the agent of regeneration that lives in the believer, baptizes them into the body of Christ, and reveals God’s love for us. The Holy Spirit also gives spiritual gifts, and empowers the believer to love and serve others (Genesis 1:2; Matthew 28:19; 1:18; John 3:5-7; 16:7-15; Romans 8:9; Ephesians 1:13,14;Titus 3:5).
Man – We believe man was created in the image of God, affected by the fall; unable to save himself, but is saved by the grace of God, through faith, because of Christ’s death on the cross (Genesis 1:26,27; Roman 5:12-19; Ephesians 1:2; 2:1,2,5,8-10; 1 Peter 1:18,19).
Salvation – We believe we are saved by grace through faith, and that it is a gift of God, not something we can accomplish on our own. To be saved, a person must repent of sin, place faith and trust in Jesus by confessing Him as Lord, believe that He took our place and paid the penalty for our sins, and believe that God raised Him from the dead. The Bible says, “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Matthew 4:17; Ephesians 2:8-10; Romans 5:8; 10:9-13).
Church – We believe that the Holy Spirit unites all true believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, and that together they form one body, the Church, of which Christ is the head, that Jesus, will return, and also the promise of eternal blessings for the believer (John 3:8; 1 Corinthians 12:12, 13; Ephesians 1:22; 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18; John 3:16; 14:1-3; Romans 6:23; 2 Corinthians 5:10).
