The men’s emergency facility provides a safe and caring place of lodging for men in transit and for those in need of short-term shelter. The emergency shelter is open 365 days a year, and residents are offered 3 meals a day, hygiene products, and other basic services to assist with a variety of needs.
During times of extreme cold weather conditions (defined as temperatures below 40 degrees), anyone who is willing to abide by our simple rules is welcome to stay in the emergency shelter with very few questions asked.
For more information on the policies and procedures of the emergency shelter, call 919.934.9257.
New Life Program
The New Life Program is a Christ-centered and balanced approach to recovery that provides encouragement along with accountability. Our program is designed to give men a time and place to break the cycle of homelessness, and the causes of homelessness, including addiction and abuse within a Christ-centered therapeutic community, however all men are welcomed into this program regardless of religious preference.
Men are given a chance at life change through case management, medical assistance, job training, Christian counseling, and other services offered on an individual basis.
If you’d like to volunteer as a part of this program, through teaching, case management, job training, or more, go to the Volunteer page to fill out an application and learn more.
