How You Can Help

One of the ways the mission is able to operate on a modest budget is through the generous gifts-in-kind we receive. Donations of food, clothing, household items, and hygiene products help us be frugal with our resources, and gives the community a tangible way to make a difference. Here are lists of our ongoing needs, special needs, and more.

Ongoing Needs:

Kitchen & Household Items:

  • Pantry staples (Flour, sugar, salt, pepper)
  • Non-perishable foods (canned vegetables, rice, beans)
  • Cooking oil
  • Condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise)
  • Aluminum foil
  • Plastic wrap
  • Cooking gloves for food prep
  • Liquid soap

Office and grounds needs:

  • Weed and grass killer
  • Office supplies (pens, printer paper, pencils, notebooks)
  • Black ink cartridges (126 or 127 Epson

Personal items:

  • Socks
  • Underwear
  • Men’s clothing
  • Women’s clothing
  • Work shoes
  • Feminine products
  • Shampoo and conditioner
  • Body wash and bar soap
  • Diapers

Items NOT accepted:

  • Damaged, broken, or inoperable items
  • Food that is opened or partially used, contaminated, or spoiled
  • Non-digital TVs (no tube TVs or CRT type, or projection), or TVs in excess of 35 pounds
  • Computers or computer monitors older than 5 years
